Description: The jurisdiction is located in Western Maryland and is bounded by the State of Pennsylvania to the north, Washington County to the east, the State of West Virginia to the south and Garrett County to the west. The majority of parcels, 40,589 accounts, were initially located by the subdivision lot or parcel number as shown on the property maps. The location of an additional 20 accounts was improved using the parcel premise address and/or account number with the State’s Public Safety Address Points (PSAP) dataset. Thus, a combined total of 40,609 (98.33%) of the 41,297 accounts in the jurisdiction were located on the property maps or referenced to their location based on the parcel premise address and/or account number.
